Khaled Mokhtar Hasan is a dedicated and forward-thinking, well-experienced physiotherapist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across sports and general rehabilitation settings. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Egypt and is registered with the HCPC (UK), licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and registered to practice in Egypt, reflecting his commitment to maintaining international standards of professional practice.

As Lead Physiotherapist at Philanx Rehab Dubai, Khaled leads the team with extensive evidence-based practice experience and strong dedication to professional development. He has cultivated a robust clinical foundation through a variety of experiences, including his work with elite squash athletes at major international competitions such as the World Squash Championship and PSA tournaments. During these events, he managed acute injuries, conducted detailed assessments, and facilitated safe and effective return-to-play decisions. His clinical confidence and sound decision-making skills are underscored by his capacity to perform in high-pressure competitive environments.

In addition to his sports coverage experience, Khaled provides comprehensive physiotherapy care in outpatient clinics for both elite athletes and the general population. He performs comprehensive evaluations to determine the underlying cause of pain or movement restrictions, with an emphasis on long-term recovery rather than temporary symptom relief. He develops a rehabilitation plan that is customised to the individual’s lifestyle and objectives, utilising a patient-centered approach that integrates structured exercise, practical education, and hands-on therapy to facilitate a safe return to daily activities or sports.

Khaled’s clinical journey began with extensive rotations at Badr University, where he gained broad exposure to orthopedics and sports, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and ICU units. He was able to confidently manage complex cases across a variety of patient populations as a result of the diverse training that honed his clinical reasoning skills.

Committed to continuous professional development, Khaled has pursued advanced certifications, including the FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine, the Advanced Manual Therapy Diploma by Winston Salem State University, Spine Manual Therapy Diploma, Dry Needling Diploma, and Basic Life Support. He has also obtained certification as a cupping practitioner, having successfully completed the training in the United Arab Emirates. His dedication to professional development and lifelong learning is evidenced by his frequent attendance at conferences and workshops, which enable him to remain informed about the most recent clinical advancements and evidence in the field of physiotherapy. His practice integrates strong manual therapy techniques, biomechanical analysis, therapeutic exercise prescription, and outcome-based treatment progression to ensure measurable patient improvements.

Beyond clinical practice, Khaled has demonstrated leadership and organizational capability through his role with the Egyptian Ministry of Health, contributing to nationwide cancer screening initiatives and leading coordination efforts for Egypt’s Healthy Lung Program. This experience enhanced his project management, teamwork, and data analysis skills, complementing his clinical expertise.

Outside of work, he enjoys graphic design, playing soccer, and supporting his favourite team, Al Ahly. His passion for sports and creativity not only keeps him active and inspired but also enhances his understanding of movement, performance, and athletic culture, further enriching the care he provides to his patients.
